The North Shore Science Supervisors Association (NSSSA) is a non-profit organization made up of science education leaders from Essex, Middlesex and Suffolk counties. The mission of the Association is (1) to provide its members a collegial and professional environment for the exchange of information, ideas and solutions to improve science teaching and learning and (2) to encourage and support individual and collective actions to promote excellence in science teaching and learning at a local, regional and state level.
The current NSSSA Executive board is responsible for the operations and management of the organization and hold the position for one year. Board members are re-elected annually, typically at the final meeting of the academic year. The 2013-2014 board is made up of the following members:
